Welcome to Nexus — your global friction intelligence platform.

What is Nexus?

Nexus is a global market friction intelligence platform that helps startups and entrepreneurs evaluate the real-world difficulty of doing business within and between countries. It synthesizes 25+ free public data sources into visual friction analysis across five dimensions: Political, Economic, Legal, Cultural, and Logistic.

Friction Scoring at a Glance

Every country receives a composite friction score from 0 to 100. A score of 0 means negligible barriers; 100 means severe friction. Scores are broken down by dimension so you can see exactly where the pain points are.

You can customize how much each dimension matters in Settings → App Settings by adjusting dimension weights.

Navigating the Dashboard

The Dashboard is your home screen. It shows:

  • KPI summary cards — top-line metrics like highest-friction countries, recent score changes, and active alerts.
  • Interactive world map — hover over countries to see friction scores; click to drill into the Markets detail page.
  • Live market shift feed — real-time events that moved friction scores, color-coded by dimension.
  • Ranked country list — top countries by friction, sortable by any dimension.
